On Friday, April 20th, Barran Liebman attended and served as a sponsor for the Wet Nose Soiree hosted by DoveLewis Emergency Animal Hospital. DoveLewis is a non-profit 24-hour critical and intensive care unit for both companion and wild animals. Founded in 1973, this nonprofit has seven community programs that include Pet Loss Support, the Charlie Fund for Abused Animals, and the Velvet Assistance Fund for Low Income Families. They are the only non-profit animal hospital in Portland that is open 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, while having treated over 500,000 animals in their 40-year commitment.
Barran Liebman was excited to support this community partner through their annual fundraiser, as the funds raised help sustain the many vital programs DoveLewis offers. According to Barran Liebman attorney, Chris Morgan, who attended the fundraiser and has grown up supporting DoveLewis, “DoveLewis has and continues to be a tremendous asset to the Portland community. Their commitment to excellence in the field of veterinary medicine is second to none, and support from the community is an essential part of their ability to provide and deliver critical care, teaching services, and community programs to animals in need.” Barran Liebman is honored to partner with an organization that shows such a commitment to not only the animal-loving community, but the Portland community as a whole.
