On Thursday, April 18th, Barran Liebman was honored to attend and sponsor the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland’s annual Be Great Ball. Along with 400 other guests who gathered at the Portland Art Museum, this event celebrated and shed light on the remarkable efforts the organization has made in the lives of youth and families who need it most. Through a silent auction, raffle, and paddle raise, the Clubs succeeded in raising over $610,000 to support their academic programs, workforce skills training initiatives, opportunities for creative growth, and variety of other youth and family support services.
Through Barran Liebman’s partnership with powerful organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs, Make-A-Wish Foundation, CampUkandu, Ronald McDonald House, and the Children’s Cancer Association, the firm strives to make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. As stated by Barran Liebman attorney, Charlotte Hodde, who has been involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland Metropolitan Area since 2017, “The reason I am committed to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland Metro Area (and will be for many years to come) is that the Clubs meet so many needs at once to help youth reach their fullest potential. The approach is very effective with 100% of the teens in the Club programs graduating from high school.” Charlotte is invested in the Clubs, serving as the current Associate Board Chair and past Operations Director. Barran Liebman looks forward to continuing its support of the Clubs and playing an active role in their efforts to empower youth and their families.
