On Saturday, September 29th, team Barran Liebman attended the Children’s Cancer Association’s (CCA) Annual Wonderball at the Oregon Convention Center. Barran Liebman is proud to support the CCA’s largest fundraiser each year, as well as year round with Paula Barran sitting on the CCA board, and Amy Angel providing pro bono legal services to help positively impact the lives of seriously ill children and their families.
With $1.2 million raised at this year’s Wonderball Gala, the CCA will be able to continue their important mission and programs that benefit children with cancer. These programs include MyMusicRX, Caring Cabin, the Chemo Pal Mentor Program, Link, and NatureRX. The diverse programs offer something for every child’s needs and interests. MyMusicRX allows hospitalized children of all ages to experience the enjoyment of playing music for and with their families, while The Chemo Pal Mentor Program provides a companion for children during treatment. Programs such as these allow children undergoing cancer treatments to have uplifting experiences in the midst of the most difficult of times.
Through Barran Liebman’s partnerships with organizations such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Camp Ukandu, Ronald McDonald House, and Children’s Cancer Association, we hope to make a positive impact in the lives of children and their families. Our firm looks forward to the annual CCA Wonderball Gala and enjoys the opportunity to see firsthand the transformative moments of joy that the organization creates for families battling cancer.
